Pahal Foundation implements Targeted Intervention (TI) project with support from Haryana State AIDS Control Society – National AIDS Control Organization covering Men who have Sex with Men (MSM and Transgender populations (TG) in Faridabad. Through TI, the foundation covers 1000 MSM and 200 Transgender/Hijra populations in Faridabad with an aim to reduce the prevalence of HIV and to promote access to prevention, care, support, and treatment for these populations. The project not only encourages safer sex practices but also offers referral systems for treatment of STIs, other general health and social needs; availability of free condoms and lubricants, support group, crisis intervention and a drop-in center (DIC) through peer-led outreach and planning.
