Pahal Foundation is a non – profit registered community-based organization working since 2006. It works on sexual and gender minorities including transgender, non-binary and intersex communities on issues related to HIV, sexual health, human rights, skill building, livelihood,  mental health and justice. The foundation is actively engaged in project implementation, advocacy, capacity building and research. It is on the Governing Body of INFOSEM, largest network of CBOs in India. Presently it implements Targeted Intervention project in Haryana (with Transgender and MSM communities) with support from Haryana SACS and in Delhi (with Transgender communities) with Delhi SACS. The foundation actively works in Uttar Pradesh providing legal support and advocacy with key stakeholders. In past it has worked with The Humsafar Trust, INFOSEM and UNDP India. It has supported Department of Orthopedics, AIIMS Delhi in organizing a health camp for transgender individuals for Dexa Scan. With support from HST, the foundation had conducted several skill buildings workshops for HRGs, liaisoned with corporate houses for livelihood for transgender individuals, participated in research supported by INFOSEM.
